Coronavirus (Covid-19)

A Message from The Leadership Team – 27th January 2022

Dear Church,

As of today (27th Jan), the wearing of face masks is no longer mandatory in churches and so you will no longer be required to wear one when attending GBC – this applies to all groups meeting on the premises (Friday Lunch Club, Life Groups etc.) The recommendation remains that they be worn in enclosed and crowded spaces, but we are happy to leave the decision to individuals as to whether they wish to wear one or not.

We clearly still need to be cautious and so we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the measures and guidance that remains in place at GBC:

    1. anyone experiencing even mild symptoms is requested to not attend church
    2. anyone being required to self-isolate must not attend church
    3. everyone is expected to sanitise their hands as they enter the church and throughout their visit as appropriate
    4. everyone is asked to be considerate of those who wish to socially distance
    5. windows and internal doors will be opened to allow cross ventilation (so you may want to wear an extra layer)

These measures will continue to be announced at the start of each Sunday Service.

We will continue to monitor the situation and inform you of any changes as and when required. If you have any concerns, please speak to one of the Leadership Team about it.

Hope to see you on Sunday when Mark will be continuing his series in Jonah.

God bless,
The Leadership Team.
